Munsoft, a leading South African company specializing in municipal financial management software, celebrated Mandela Day by adopting the L.U.C.C.A school in Johannesburg is a special needs institution that supports 44 children with various disabilities. CEO Marius Richter emphasized the company’s commitment to community service, aligning with the Mandela Day initiative that encourages citizens to dedicate 67 minutes to helping others in honor of Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of activism. The company donated toys and educational materials to the school and engaged with the children during their visit.

Additionally, Munsoft contributed R67,000 for school uniforms to assist learners in the uMhlathuze Local Municipality, addressing a significant local need identified by the Executive Mayor. Richter highlighted the importance of private sector involvement in community welfare, stating that Munsoft aims to address urgent educational needs and combat youth unemployment through such initiatives.

The Mayor expressed gratitude for Munsoft’s contributions, noting the positive impact on students’ confidence and academic experience.
